The rack and pinion adjustment knob can move forward or backward by 18mm in one turn, while the cross-roller micrometer knob can only move forward or backward by 0.5mm in one turn. Fourth, there are differences in prices. The dovetail slide has a simple structure and low price, while the cross-roller slide has a relatively complex structure, high precision and high price.
